Cover - the new Cocoon Chill mattress features the same stretch-knit cover that its predecessors used. This cover is made of a blend of polyester and cotton, which makes it popular because of its temperature management abilities. Besides being breathable, this cover incorporates an innovative Phase Changing Material that draws heat away from you to create a cooler sleeping surface. If a cooling feature is a must-have on your mattress, you’re probably going to love this cover! This cover can be removed, but it cannot go in the washing machine.

Comfort layer - this Memory-foam mattress also has a 2" layer of Perfect Fit Memory foam. The property it shares with classic memory-foam is a reduced overheating problem, which can be really beneficial for sleeper’s comfort. For instance, it will mold to your body shape for a comfortable sleep. It’s proprietary blend of memory foam doesn’t restrict movement as much as standard visco-elastic foam would. The following two layers also help to improve this type of movement,

Transition layer - sandwiched between the comfort layer and the base support is another 2-inch layer of a proprietary foam that Sealy calls Responsive comfort foam. This layer make this mattress a desirable choice for people across different weight groups. This firm density foam on the bottom of this mattress provides an advanced luxurious feel and extra support up top.

Base support - the comfort and transition layers rest on another 6-inch core support base made of high-density poly foam. This layer generates robust support that’s necessary to prevent you from sinking deep into the mattress. It’s engineered to be incredibly durable.
